Dear Ohana,

In compliance with the Governor's executive order, Gainesville Dance Center will remain closed to the public for the next 30 days.  We will continue to offer online classes and activities through Ohana Online during this constantly evolving situation. I am proud of the work that has been accomplished in such a brief period and was beyond thrilled to see such a great response from so many students and parents.

It is important that we all remain vigilant in our efforts to curb this virus but also remain active and upbeat.  I think we as a dance family have and will continue to do so.  We are very hopeful that we will be open for Session V and will be able to hold our annual Recital, make sure to continue to practice your recital dances!  As we approach closer to the end of the prescribed thirty-day period, we will re-evaluate and update you with any changes or information that may be available.  GDC Competition members, I will update you with details as soon as I have them from the competitions.

I continue to greatly appreciate your flexibility, patience, and support in this shared difficult time.  While we here at GDC miss seeing our dancers in person, we are excited to see them enjoying and making use of our virtual options.  Continue to check Ohana Online for updated classes, new events, and enjoy the many hours of content and activities!  Also, please continue to share your Ohana Online experiences with us on social media. Above all, it is important that we remain positive and stick together.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon, in the meantime - Stay safe and healthy.
