Attire:  Leotard, tights (any color) style of tap shoe: Black Bloch Flex Slip-On Tap Shoes!

Advance level placements by teacher recommendation only.
 

Jazz Class:  Where the beat begins with "Funky High Beat Fun!"  Learn from the basic to advance moves and with funk style and technique together.  You will learn the patterns, turns, routines, and other skills to get yourself moving to the beat.  The style you see on TV to Broadway.  Jazz will give you all the confidence you are looking for.

Attire:  Any color leotard & tights, and Black Capezio Slip-On, Split Sole Jazz Boot are required.

Ballet/Pointe:  Instruction is designed to bring out the best poise, grace, and technique within the student.  Classes will offer barre work, center, across the floor combinations, and several choreographic selections.

Attire:  Black leotard, ballet pink tights, and ballet pink Sansha's Pro 1 Canvas ballet shoes.  During the winter months, students are allowed to wear leg warmers, or leg to waist warmers.  Hair in a low bun.  NO OVER SIZED T-SHIRTS ALLOWED.  Dress code will be enforced.

Pointe Shoes:  WHEN THE INSTRUCTOR NOTIFIES THE DIRECTOR THAT A STUDENT IS STRONG ENOUGH TO BE PUT INTO POINTE SHOES WE WILL NOTIFY THE PARENT IMMEDIATELY.  PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE POINTE SHOES UNTIL YOU SPEAK TO THE INSTRUCTOR AND/OR THE DIRECTOR.

Lyrical:  Will emphasize balance, extensions, flexibility, isolations, and control utilizing the lyrics or mood of the music.  Must be enrolled in a minimum of one ballet class per week in order to participate in lyrical.

Attire:  Any color leotard, suntan capezio tights.  Capezio "Pedini" Suntan Shoes.  During winter months students are allowed to wear leg warmers, or leg to waist warmers.  Hair in a low bun. 

COMBINATION (COMBO) CLASSES:  Remember to use the restroom before class starts!  All combo classes will perform one routine in the Recital.  A great introduction to dance!  Designed for young dancers to get familiar with more than one subject.  Students will receive both tap and ballet instruction, while having fun.  "Come on in for a combo-deal."

Attire:  Ages 3&4; 4&5; 5&6

Boogie Fever:  Ages 5-8  Created by Tricia Deering
Has your young dancer had two or three seasons of combo and is ready to get Movin'?  Then Boogie Fever is for you!  This class is for the Lil ones that are ready to shake it up!  This class is structured much like a jazz class and will work with opposition and technique.

Attire:  Any style black leotard, black tights, Black Capezio slip-on, split sole jazz boot are required.

Dance Team & Pom Prep Classes:  Do you want to make Dance Team then start getting ready!  Upbeat team style performance dance class using small show poms.  This class will focus on precession, sharpness, kicks, leaps, turns, and formations with some funk and jazz moves added in!  Class will include a warm-up, basic technique, and Dance Team & Pom choreography.

Attire for class:  GDC T-shirt, GDC Shorts, & Black Capezio Dansneaker Canvas #DS03.

G.D.C. Competition Pom Team:  Shows, Parades & Competition opportunities!  Students will be placed by ability & age.  Please come talk to Director Tricia Deering. 

Hip Hop Classes:  Hip Hop combines the elements of street dancing which includes styles often seen in today's music videos.  Come in and Get Your Groove On!!

Attire:  Comfortable clothing and Black Dansneaker Canvas #DS03.  No blue jeans!!

Boys/Men Attire:  Solid white T-shirt, black male tights for ballet classes.  Can wear shorts and sweat pants for all other subjects.  Adults can wear anything comfortable.

Female dancers MUST have hair securely off face!  No loose clothing will be allowed over leotard & tights.  Come ready to dance in proper attire.
