GDC is very proud of our senior student, Nicole Thomas, who is a "Future Star" Award winner.
       Ms.Thomas was recognized by Star Power/Star Talent, an International Competitive Dance Company.  Ms. Thomas is featured in the December 2008 Dance Spirit Magazine.

Welcome to Gainesville Dance Center!  Our dance program is designed for the recreational as well as
the competitive, serious student.  Our goal is to introduce the "LOVE" of dance, and to take a student to
their highest goals with lots of encouragement and "GREAT SELF-ESTEEM" motivation.  We believe that a
student should leave his or her class each week with a strong sense of accomplishment.  If instruction takes
place in a nurturing environment, the discipline and commitment to be one's best "self", which is learned
in dance, can remain with a student for a lifetime

Our professional staff of instructors are accredited with International and American Associations
such as Checchetti Council of America, Royal Academy of Dance, Dance Masters of America,
Dance Educators  of America and Professional Dance Teachers Association.  We also feature
"Special Guest" Master Classes throughout the season.
